The senses are the holes in the dam, on the other side of Reality, where we stand.
Seeking balance in the urban jungle.
I think reality is more likely than not just an internal rendering of the world through the senses. It’s created by the choices we make, defining our person to the other more common ground of human interaction. And not to renounce the dam, our senses or the waters we stand upon beyond that wall, but one reality based from another is not a reality, just a construction of personal interpretation. (Personal note: Internal and external, a feed back loop? Nothing is more ‘Reality’ than another reality?... I think I confused myself :)

I think in your eternal quest to contradict me you failed to see I said what you just said... I saw how you copied my text to the other blog, you copied it as:
"... on the other side IS reality " instead of " on the other side OF reality".
My point is exactly that, we construct a world out of what we can sense, by interpretation. These senses are the means by which we see an incomplete representation of reality, because there's so much more that we can't *see* or experience. And in the end I believe it's our dependence on these senses that builds that imaginary dam between us and actual experience.
What we forget is that the we are part of that reality, we don't exist outside of it as independent observers. It's through that one fact that we can wake up by realizing there's more to reality than that we can observe.
